The waking dream process is an embodied imaginal method in which dreams are re-entered in sessions using the present tense and explored through bodily sensations, images, emotions and symbolic material. Importantly, rather than interpreting the dream, the dreamer is invited to step back into the dreamscape or image consciously, allowing it to unfold through sensation, movement, feeling and inner dialogue in the present moment.

Drawing on Jungian active imagination and later embodied developments by practitioners such as Marion Woodman, the process treats the dream not as something to be explained, but as a living field of experience. Meaning arises through relationship with the image and the body, rather than through analysis alone.

in this way, recorded dreams become a threshold into waking, embodied dialogue with the unconscious, supporting inegration, transformation and increased psychophysical awareness.

At the end of each session there will be an opportunity to integrate the process through drawing and movement (if this is desired).
